Mountains, lakes, waterfalls and sheer desire to explore and discover the beauty on a solitary journey attracted me to the adventure of fell walking. This combined with my passion for landscape photography was a recipe for success. I wanted to push my creative flare and love of the outdoors. The love began, I needed boots!
About me
The Vlogger
About meOn the 3rd July 2017, I posted my very first video on YouTube. I had finally done it, started my own little media journey. I had been watching videos on YouTube for several years, the majority of which I had picked up valuable information from and also gained a sense of elation as I knew I had the potential of joining the party. So it began.
The Landscape Photographer
About meThe early days
I’d found a new outlet to let loose my creative flair. I wanted the gear but had no idea. It was August 2007 when I seriously found an interest in photography and purchased my first DSLR, a Canon 400D. I’d been tinkering with compacts for years but now I had grown up, I had my toy and I didn’t have a clue how to use it. I remember the first shots taken, overexposed and out of focus. The ideas I had in my head of beautiful vistas, perfectly exposed and crisp were proving to be difficult to produce.
An Introduction
About meIt was shortly after shooting this image from Helm Crag, in conversation with Chris Sale during a days outing, vlogging in The Lake District that I decided to build this website. Chris inspired me, made me believe that maybe I do have something to offer, like he does, and so here goes, enter the world of blogging. Why not. I’ve been vlogging for nearly a year, blogging is more common and easier, right?
