Woodland photography is a genre of landscape photography which is notoriously difficult to get right. This is not surprising as the untidiness of the woodland area with its irregular branches, leaves, often lack of separation can seem quite daunting. This project was set out to simplify the process for me and improve my success rates. I have to keep disciplined and focus on a small area at a time and not allow myself to move on until I feel I have explored and got the most out of the scene. This project will be shot from a variety of locations.
Brief: Shot with a focal length of 35mm, compose woodland scenes, handheld ,no tripod and the final image cropped to a square 1:1 aspect ratio.
